Scandinavian Winter by Mikael Westman

It’s the darkest time of the year once again here in northern hemisphere. Because of that and due my real work hustles I haven’t photographed anything specific in ages. It’s quite hard to try to be creative and take interesting photos during polar night. Fortunately the winter solstice is already behind and the daylight time gets longer and longer every day. Best thing however is that I’m off to Asia bound next week!

Anyway here are some random photos from dark and cold Scandinavia....

Bairro Alto Radio by Mikael Westman

If you like to travel some place nice and warm in Europe, forget Barcelona and other mediterranean cities. Lisbon is the place to be. I must say I love this city. Like it even more and more each time I travel there.

Fantastic seafood, cheap wine, hipster people all over the city as well as lots of great little bars and rooftop music venues at the uptown district of Bairro Alto. You can feel the african vibe, smell all the spices around you while checking out some random music performance on the streets of Lisbon!
