Roadtrippin' America by Mikael Westman

This summer we decided to do a little Northern California excursion. First south from San Francisco to Santa Cruz, Monterey and Big Sur. Later to north bound to see Sonoma and Napa Valley wineries ending our trip back to San Fran via Point Reyes National Seashore. All photos with Sony A7 & Voigtländer Nokton 35mm f/1.4 and Canon FD 50mm f/1.8 lenses.

Kevätpaardit vol 2 by Mikael Westman

This friday we were invited to celebrate our friend's 30th birthday to a place called Omenapuutalo. The location is by the sea only a couple of kilometres away from Helsinki city center, but still quite isolated. Great place to go to on a july summer evening with lots of light until midnight.

I decided it's great chance to test my new Voigtländer Nokton 35mm 1.4. This was actually my first time shooting with Sony alpha 7 as well. I'm quite happy with the results. The bokeh is little harsh but unique in a good way. The lens suffers quite much barrel distortion and vignetting. Not a big thing when shooting portraits and stuff.

BIG THANKS to Elisa & Matti, and all the other dj's playing for such a great party! What a night. :)
